Public Schools

Tanzanian public schools are organized on the English System. Beyond the elementary schools there are three levels:

• Secondary Standard Level for four years
• Secondary Advanced Level for two years
• Undergraduate College for three years ¹

¹ = some highly specialized undergraduate colleges are four years
